Woo-dy – A Solid Wood Base 67 Keys Mechanical Keyboard

Woo-dy is a wireless and mechanical keyboard. It has 67 ergonomic metal keys. All the keys are Gateron switches which is one of the most reputed names in keyboard market. It uses Gateron’s first keycap. The keycap is spherical accompanied by a highly sculpted OEM profile. The keycaps are never-fade ABS double-shot keycaps. The spherical shape avoids any accidental click on some other button.

It has an N-key rollover, which lets you register as many keys as you need at once. It has a lifetime of 50 million clicks which will likely last forever. The keyboard is back lit for low light working. It has 16.8 million available colors of RGB LED back-lighting. The colors can be changed and you can choose effects like strobe, pulse or static.

Woo-dy is hot swappable and comes with three Gateron switch options ; Blue switches, Red Switches and Brown switches. Blue switch has an audible click. Brown one has a quite tactile and red switch is for a gentle keystroke.

Woo-dy’s has wooden base that gives it a natural look and feel. It is available in two different versions ; walnut and cherry.

Woo-dy is fully customizable in both hardware and software. The keyboard layout customizable according to Windows or Mac. You can choose from preset light effects on the keyboard or customize unique light effects of your own. There is options to program to custom macro expansions. Macro expansion includes programming one key to serve the function of a key combination. Key mappings and shortcuts are also customizable as well. You won’t have to set the settings over and over again. Woo-dy has its own memory chip that saves the settings/keyboard profile in the keyboard.

For connectivity, Woo-dy uses Bluetooth or USB Type-C. Any device that supports USB Type C can be connected to Woo-dy be it smartphone, PC or tablet via Bluetooth. It can connect to a maximum of 3 devices at same time. Woo-dy is perfectly compatible with all operating systems (OS) including Mac/iOS, Linux, Windows and Android.

While Woo-dy has 67 keys it still manages to stay compact. Its dimensions are 341 x 103.8 x 36.5 mm. It is also lightweight. Despite its Aluminum alloy body, it weighs just 500 grams.
