Laptops and computers nowadays have bigger screen but these are still limited. There is only so much you can do on a single screen. To solve this problem people use external secondary monitors. There are a lot of good monitors out there. One of the new entrant is Desklab.
Desklab Monitors has created Desklab to serve as an ultralight but powerful portable monitor. Desklab has an IPS screen that is 15 inches (38.1 cm) big. The screen has 2160p 4K resolution. Having a 4K resolution on a 15 inches (38.1 cm) screen can surely generate great pictures with great details. The screen has a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and a color range of 16.7 million. The screen is also LED backlit which enhances contrast and the colors. The clarity makes it easy to see whatever material you are working with. The screen also supports a complete touch-control with a 10 point touch support. It makes it easy to scroll or zoom in/out while working with your fingers. Other than being big and bright, the screen is safe for eyes as well. Desklab’s screen is flicker-free, anti-glare and has a blue light filter too.
Desklab is not made for just laptops or for working purposes. It would be a shame if a 15″ 4K screen can only be used for copy/pasting or editing documents. You can connect Desklab with your mobile too. You can stream movies through your mobile app or play your mobile games on a big 4K screen. Desklab also supports connectivity with gaming consoles like Playstation, Xbox or Nintendo. All the new high end graphic games are best played on a high resolution after all. Desklab has a fast response time of just 10 milliseconds. It means there would be zero lags while you are playing a game connected to Desklab. All you need to do is plug a cable and connect your intended device with Desklab. Desklab has a Type C port and a Micro USB port for connectivity. It also has a micro HDMI port.
Desklab does not have a built-in battery and it does not need charging. It relies on the battery of the connected device for functioning. It might be a problem as playing games on 4K can drain the battery of your device really fast. However, the creators promise of Desklab being highly power efficient.
Desklab comes with a magnetic stand. The stand clips onto the back of the screen. It is easy to flip it out and use it for supporting the monitor at different angles. It can adjust and support monitor up to an angle of 183°.
Desklab weighs only 595 grams which is really light and makes it very portable. Desklab offers everything required for a good external monitor. It includes a beautiful screen that is good for both working or playing high quality games. It is also easier to carry due to its lightweight. While there are already a lot of secondary monitors out there, Desklab stands out among them.
