A lot of people would agree that movies and TV-shows are made to be watched on bigger screen. A mobile might be more portable but watching a video on a small screen is not good enough. You can’t go to cinemas to watch everything either. The solution is either a very big TV screen or a projector. As TV screen has its own limitation, this leaves projector as the number one contender. A lot of new projectors keep coming out with improved features like size or portability. One of them is the new CIRQ.
The first and major selling point of CIRQ is portability and ease of use. CIRQ is completely wireless and smaller than a smartphone. Standard projectors are big and rectangular boxes which are heavy as well. CIRQ is circular in shape with a small radius of 4 inches (10.16 cm). Even the thickness is just 1 inch (2.54 cm). A projector that can easily fit in your pockets does sound like a great idea.
It seems makers haven’t compromised much on the quality in return for reducing the size either. It has a 1.7 GHz Quad Core processor. CIRQ can produce a huge image of up to 240 inches (6.1 m) that too in a full HD 1080p resolution. The projected picture is of the 200 ANSI lumens which means it will be bright and crisp in any light conditions or surface. The projector also has an auto-adjusting feature due to which the picture changes its angle according to the angle of the projection surface. It does so with the help of its built-in gravity sensors.
Other than video, CIRQ has two built-in speakers for audio. The audio channel is stereo which creates a surround effect to make things even better.
As CIRQ is wireless, it uses Bluetooth and also Wi-Fi for connection. It supports Bluetooth version 5.0 which makes for better signal transmission. That results in a better projection without any lag or sync error. It also works as a Bluetooth remote of itself. It has a touch screen panel on its top which can be used for navigation, start/pause, select and adjusting the volume.
There is no point of having such good features if you don’t get a good battery backup for using them. That’s not the case with CIRQ however. It’s battery can give a long 6 hours video playback and more than 50 hours of audio playback. It also supports Fast Charge if you run out of the battery. It supports USB Type C cable and 15 minutes of charging can give up to 2 hours of playback which is insane. You can watch a standard 2 hours long movie on a huge screen with just 15 minutes of charge.
Another great thing about CIRQ is that it supports Google Play. All the apps and games can be directly installed to CIRQ and played on the projected screen. It means you can download and stream Netflix or Amazon Prime directly from CIRQ. Or enjoy games like Mortal Kombat on a huge screen.
